ABOUT US

Susie qualified as a Physiotherapist (Bsc Hons) from the University of Birmingham in 2012. She has experience in all physiotherapy core areas and spent the last 12 years in a specialist neuro physiotherapy role.
Susie currently works at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust as a Highly Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist, however spent the first 10 years of her career working at St George's Hospital in London, a large teaching hospital.
She has a special interest in rehabilitation, in particular the 24 hour approach to rehab and supporting people to thrive within their own environment. She has extensive experience working with those with acute neurological events (stroke, GBS, TBI) and progressive neurological diseases (Parkinson’s and MS). Susie also has a specialist interest working with those with Function Neurological Disorder (FND).
Susie also treats orthopaedic patients in her NHS role at weekends following hip/knee replacements and has lots of experience working with the elderly.
Susie is a member of ACPIN and has completed her Bobath training course.
Penn Physiotherapy was established in 2024. It is an independent physiotherapy clinic based in Penn, Buckinghamshire but provides treatment for clients in the comfort of their own home. This allows therapy to be specific to their personal goals in their own environment, including mobility in the house, using their stairs, reaching utensils in their own kitchen cupboards or accessing their local community amongst others.
